Haunted Antiques Museum - Hinckley, Leicestershire
Do spirits attach themselves to objects and do objects hold onto energy from their owners?

Sorry, we do not have any events for this location at the moment. Please keep an eye on our website for future dates.

Inside one of the oldest buildings in Hinckley Town in Leicester, you will definitely find more than you bargained for.

The building is now a Paranormal Research Centre, named The Haunted Antiques Museum (HAPRC) and its aim is to identify the truth behind, not just the building itself, but the antiquated objects that reside within it.  The Haunted Antiques Museum, one of its kind in the UK, was set up in an attempt to carry out intense research into haunted antiques and to try to answer the following questions; do spirits attach themselves to objects and do objects hold onto energy from their owners?

From their research to date it really does seem as if some of these objects really do come to life. With video streaming and controlled experiments certain objects have been seen to move on their own. There are many antique objects within the centre, all with their own story to tell and secrets that are yet to be revealed. Some of these objects are so terrifying that just touching them will send shivers down your spine.

Ghosts of The Haunted Antiques Museum

A lot of work has been done at this interesting museum to uncover these secrets.

Many people have had numerous experiences with some of the objects, in particular a voodoo doll that stares at you menacingly from within its glass dome and a sinister looking clown which smirks at you from its shelf.

A Victorian pram has been seen to move on its own on many occasions and this has been caught on camera. There is the mystery of the bottles where it is said that if you open one you may be releasing an evil demon. A gruesome picture hangs on the wall which, on first glance, looks like a sweet picture of a little Victorian girl until you realise that she is actually dead.

The rooms are full of these artefacts all with a story to tell. You will be encouraged to not only spend time with these objects but to touch or hold them to discover who or what has an attachment to it. Your job on this ghost hunt at the Paranormal Research Centre and Haunted Antiques Museum is to reveal their secrets.

History of The Haunted Antiques Museum

The Haunted Antiques Museum is situated at 11A Regent Street in Leicester which is one of the oldest streets in the 13th Century town. In February 2018, 11A Regent Street became the home to the first ever Paranormal Research Centre in the UK.

The artefacts at The Haunted Antiques Museum is now one of the largest collections of haunted antiques and objects in the world. The building itself dates back to the 19th Century but the beams inside are said to date back to the 16th Century. There are so many layers to investigate at this building and the objects that have been placed inside.

The antiques and items are not kept behind glass and those who visit are encouraged to spend time holding and touching the artefacts.
