The History of 94 Friar Lane

94 Friar Lane, or what is now known as The Robin Hood Legacy, sits in the shadow of Nottingham Castle itself.  Having discovered the existence of what is thought to be a small carvern hidden within the foundations of the house itself, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that this is a place of great historical significance.  Secret tunnels to and from Nottingham Castle would have been established during the medieval period and there is clear evidence of this when looking at the structure of this cavern.  The house itself has had many owners over the centuries and now it is home to the legacy of Nottingham\'s most famous son, Robin Hood.
