Ghost Hunt, Sleepover and BBQ

You will join the Haunted Happenings Team in the afternoon at our mystery location.  This is an exclusive converted barn which is equipped with a wood-burning stove and full bathroom facilities including a shower.  This barn is set in the most amazing surroundings and will be your base camp.   You will need a sleeping bag and pillow for your stay here.  Places are strictly limited as we will only be taking a maximum of 18 people on this unique event.

After being given all the maps and details we will need for our investigation we will then take you on a tour around some of the most mysterious locations associated with Pendle Hill and the infamous witches.  This tour will be conducted by our famous historian and storyteller, Simon Entwistle.  He is an expert on the Pendle Witch story and all of its hidden secrets.

We will then make our way back to our base camp where you will be able to hear some fascinating tales of witchcraft whilst indulging in a delicious barbeque al fresco.

The next part of our event will begin as darkness looms and we will take you on a ghost hunt extraordinaire.  You will spend some time carrying out experiments on the desolate Pendle Hill and conduct a vigil in the haunted barn.  You will also be taken on a tour, following in the footsteps of Most Haunted, as we visit the top of Clitheroe Castle,  the haunted house and the haunted graveyard of Clitheroe itself..

We will end the event back at basecamp where we can sit around our fire and tell each other some of our ghostly tales and recount the terrifying experiences surrounding our very paranormal event.

  • This event requires the use of your own transport.
  • Due to the nature of the event it is unfortunately not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
  • There are no single room in the converted barn and we will all be sharing the same sleeping area.
  • Please advise if anybody in your group is vegetarian.
  • BBQ – eating outside is obviously weather permitting.
  • Please be advised that your own transport to and from Pendle Hill will be needed for this part of the event.
