On Friday 19th June at 9pm Haunted Happenings began the World’s Longest Public Ghost Hunt at Tutbury Castle, a fantastic location sitting on wooden slopes overlooking the River Dove. This event ended at 4am on Monday 22nd June and words cannot really begin to describe what was a truly amazing event.
Raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, we were joined by stars of the paranormal world such as Lesley Smith, Curator of Tutbury Castle, Johnnie Fiori from Living with the Dead and Haunted Happenings own extremely hardworking psychic Mediums.
We were also joined by David Hasselhoff, his daughters and Scott Mills from Radio 1 to finish the event off with a ghost hunt on the Sunday night. As you can imagine this was a truly magical event with so much happening and so much paranormal activity to keep everybody impressed. Lesley Smith at Tutbury Castle and Wendy Brown were
fantastic throughout the whole weekend and really worked very hard to ensure that the event went well at their amazing location.
Many, many thanks to everyone who took part in this amazing event. The guests, the Mediums and the Haunted Happenings Investigation Team worked so hard throughout the whole weekend. I cannot thank any of you enough for your input. Katrina and I were overwhelmed by your support and willingness to make sure that everything
went right. Martyn is constantly updating the site so if you have any pictures you would like added then please get in touch with him via the website. He is doing a great job in sorting all this out.
Working with the Hoff and Scott Mills at the end was like the piece de resistance and I will never forget it. Carolyn the Medium who accompanied me on this part of their visit was amazing as always.
We will keep you informed of numbers and monies raised as soon as we have done the necessary.
Once again many thanks to everyone.
Hazel

Hidden amongst Nottingham’s High Street shops and high rises, Ye Olde Salutation Inn is a charming reminder of the city’s ancient past. This old-fashioned pub was built in 1240 and provides a fascinating glimpse of life in days gone by, but beneath the beautiful black and white building lurk many dark secrets and a wealth of history not commonly known.
