Watch as Vikings of old storm this historic castle and take part in a bonfire display that has won awards for its extravagance and fantastic atmoshphere.
It does not end there. Once all the Castle guests have left Haunted Happenings will remain to take you on an overnight ghost hunting experience like no other. Who will be brave enough to spend time in the Notoriously haunted King’s bedroom or who is prepared to stand alone in the dungeon? This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to have a fantastic night full of entertainment and frights.
This is a night that you will remember for a long time to come. Tutbury Castle is an amazing place with many hauntings. You will see this in its true light tonight and be able to experience Tutbury Castle in its full glory. You will be given a guided tour by our fantastic historian who, schedule permitting, may even be our very own Lesley Smith. This will bring Tutbury Castle to life for you in a wonderfully imaginative and amazing detail.
The ghosts and spirits that roam Tutbury Castle are both tragic and sinister. There have been many reports over the years of paranormal activity at the Castle. The King’s bedroom has seen its fair share of people fleeing from it in terror as it can overwhelm our visitors with its ghostly activity. But fear not, the Haunted Happenings Team are always on hand to take care of each and every one of our valued guests. Will you see Mary Queen of Scots or be touched by the white Lady in the Undercroft? Who knows what may happen but unless you are there you will never know.
A hotdog or burger is included during the firework display as well as refreshments for the ghost hunting part of the event, snacks, teas, coffees and soft drinks.
