Your evening will begin with a delicious 2-course supper where you will get the opportunity to meet your Medium and Paranormal Team and chat about what the night will bring. We will then begin our ghost hunt and find out what ghosts and spirits we will encounter through the night in our vigils and séances.
Being one of about 500 listed buildings in Ludlow The Feathers Hotel has been in existence as an Inn for hundreds of years. It has given food, ale and rest to a wealth of clients throughout its history. It has played an important part in local politics as prospective candidates have tried to entice voters from its balcony. It was also used as a Cock Fighting venue amongst many other things I’m sure.
The Feathers has a strong reputation for being a very haunted location and has terrified many people over the years with its ghostly apparitions. These are not just inside the building either, a ghost of a young girl has been seen walking amongst the cars in the car park.
A sighting of this girl has been documented on many different occasions by many people. Apparently this girl only appears to men for some reason. It is thought that this is a very rare living ghost and her identity has been found by a local researcher. She is a young girl who now lives elsewhere and used to take that route regularly to visit relatives. Being such a happy time in her life she often revisits it in her mind, hence the ghost sighting.
The Feathers is a definite ‘wow’ factor for ghost and spirit activity so come and be part of our investigation and see what you uncover at this strange and spooky location.
You should aim to arrive at 7.30pm
The Ghost Hunt will begin at 10.00pm with a history tour followed by a tour with our Medium to see what activity is around us at the time.
You will have the opportunity to carry out your own vigils and experiments as well as working with our Medium and Paranormal Team.
You will have access to all the ghost hunting equipment.
Refreshments are available throughout the night.
