This is an Exclusive night of Ghost Hunting. The ghost hunt will begin at 9.00pm with a jacket potato supper.
The ghost hunt will involve vigils and séances in the most active areas of the Castle. This could be the torture chamber, the King’s bedroom, or the Great Hall. You will have the opportunity to carry out vigils alone or in a group using our up-to-date ghost hunting equipment.
The ghosts and spirits that roam Tutbury Castle are both tragic and sinister. Will you see the Ghost of Mary Queen of Scots? Who is lurking in the King's Bedroom waiting to scare the life out of you?
Many people have fled from this area absolutely petrified. But don't worry, you will be well looked after by the paranormal team whatever happens on the night. 
For those of you who are really fearless there is the extremely terrifying torture chamber where you can instantly pick up on the misery and hopelessness when you enter the area. Spend some time in here alone if you dare!
Brief description on what we found on our last visit
The King's bedroom was strange. It felt as if something wanted to happen but it was lurking in the background. We kept seeing strange shapes under the door as if somebody was walking outside. The best bit was when we thought somebody had come into the room from another group and there was nobody there.
The glass movement in the Great Hall was quite spectacular and we discovered the spirit of somebody called John who was playing games with us and pretending to be a woman.
Our Mediums picked up on many spirits attached to the Castle and between them they were able to correctly identify one spirit down to the clothes she wore and the mood she was in at the time.
