Your Event
Be one of the first Haunted Happenings guest’s to embark on a terrifying journey at the very haunted Aldermaston Manor. A new location for Haunted Happenings, this Manor has everything, ghosts, spirits, poltergeists and a very sinister history dating back 1000 years.
Aldermaston Manor has been graced with members of Royalty such as Elizabeth I and Henry I. Originally belonging to the final Anglo-Saxon King, Harold Godwinson, it stayed in the Crown’s Possession until it was given to Sir Robert Archard in 1115.
The Manor and its estate has had many uses over the centuries including playing an important role in the manufacture of the Spitfire during World War II. Although now a hotel it still retains its original elements.
This is a classic haunted house. Its hauntings include a sinister cloaked figure, seen by many outside the Manor itself. On many occasions people who have slept here have been left in no doubt that they have been visited in the night by a spirit. Having their hair stroked and the feeling of somebody sitting on their bed has made them flee from the room. One of the more famous spirits is thought to be the wife of Daniel Higford Burr who owned the mansion in 1848, and she has been seen roaming the corridors of this haunted mansion.
Furniture has been seen shaking and actually moving on its own by what is thought to be a very angry spirit. Doors have opened and closed by themselves and harrowing noises have been heard by staff and guests of the Mansion.
Join us as we explore Aldermaston Mansion on our first ghost hunt. It is not by accident that we are invited to investigate what is bound to be a terrifying, chilling and daunting location for all concerned. This is an opportunity not to be missed by anybody who is serious about experiencing paranormal activity.

What a night for our first hunt, it was out of this world, voices, lights, foot steps, moving tables, too much to write down here. A big thanks to every one that was there, it was great. Now looking forward to the next one, hooked now.
