Join Haunted Happenings for a night of intrigue at this sinister and Haunted Location. Smithills Hall has been reputedly haunted for centuries and is on the list of many ghost hunters as a location to have under their belt. Some of the activity that has been witnessed here is phenomenal and the ghosts and spirits seen have been witnessed on many occasions independently of each other.
The shadow of a male figure has been seen looming over stairways and in certain rooms of the Hall is believed to be the ghost of George Marsh. One room in particular - the Green Room - has been the location of many sightings. His face has appeared looking desolate and miserable in the old mirror hanging on the wall.
In the Brown Room there has been the figure of a lady seen by many, many visitors. She appears to be dressed in clothing from the 1500's. This apparition is thought to be a mischievous spirit who interacts with the guests on a regular basis. There is also the ghost of a serving girl who has been reported banging things around. Noises have been heard frequently including ghostly footsteps which mysteriously stop. Crying has been heard and not been traced.
The paranormal activity really is something to be witnessed by anybody who is is as fascinated in the subject of the paranormal as we are.
Your night will begin at 8pm when you will be taken on a brief tour of this historic location. You will then be accompanied by the Medium so that we can determine the most active areas of the Hall. You will then be able to carry out some experiments including glass moving, table tipping, dowsing rods and pendulums. We will be performing vigils and seances in the most active areas. If you feel brave enough you can spend some time on your own carrying out your own vigil.
Refreshments will be served throughout the night. this includes Tea, coffe, soft drinks, biscuits, cakes and snacks. We will not be taking sandwiches to this event so please bring some if you prefer.

I just want to say how much I enjoyed working with Craig on Saturday at the feathers. What a wonderful night. Lots of flashing lights and orbs in one of the bedrooms and a conversation with a small boy who talked to me a week ago through glass moving.
