For all those in the know about haunted locations you will be aware that the Jamaica Inn has a reputation for being perhaps the most haunted pub in England.

With our first event there being so successful we have now incorporated a delicious home cooked supper and because we have been inundated with calls requesting to spend the night after the event in one of the haunted bedrooms, we are now pleased to offer the following booking options.

Overnight Stay

You will enjoy a very special rate of only £70 per room including breakfast and dinner during our event. This special rate applies to both a Friday and Saturday night on the weekend of an event booked with Haunted Happenings so why not take advantage and make a weekend of it. The dinner option is only applicable as part of the ghost hunt booked with Haunted Happenings).

The Jamiaca Inn is a jewel for ghost hunters. It has it all, ghosts, spirits, mystery, smuggling, plotting and murder. There are so many areas to investigate here such as the haunted bedrooms, which incidentally you can book to sleep in, if you are brave enough.

For so many years those visiting the Jamaica Inn have witnessed paranormal activity. Whispering has been heard in a foreign language which could be the sound of Smugglers discussing their hoards. There is also the case of the corpse found on a bleak moor which is thought to be that of a stranger who had been drinking in the bar. He was called outside and on leaving half a pint of ale on the bar was never seen again. He is thought to haunt the Jamaica Inn but nobody knows why. There are also horses hooves heard clattering outside on a regular basis. This is an overwhelming phenomena and nobody can find the cause or why it is happening.

Poltergeist activity was also recorded by the Most Haunted Team on their investigation here. They named this as one of the spookiest locations in Britain.

You will be able to participate in Workshops where you will learn how to use our equipment. These include: Dowsing Rods, dowsing crystals, EMF Meters, Temperature Thermometers, Ouija Boards (optional), glass moving and table tipping.

The event is structured so that you get an opportunity to experience everything available.

Refreshments are included in this event such as teas, coffees and snacks
