If you are thinking abouit entering the competitions in the National Newspapers or the Weekly magazines relating to the psychic development weekend, this is an outline of what the event will entail to help you in your decision to enter. 

GRENDON HALL PSYCHIC WEEKEND

Our weekend location is in the magnificent Northamptonshire Countryside. This will be your base for the weekend and will include all meals and accommodation.

You will arrive on Friday afternoon and enjoy a buffet meal giving you the opportunity to meet fellow guests and to chat to your Mediums and Tutors. Our Mediums will demonstrate some of their own methods of working through Tarot readings and Mediumship demonstration. They will also be able to demonstrate an outline of what is to be expected for the weekend.

A celebrity Medium will be attending on the Saturday and he/she will be giving you a demonstration of stage mediumship including psychometry (reading of held objects).

After a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning you will begin the workshops and this is when you can really begin to develop your own sense of psychic awareness. There will be practical tasks and demonstrations along with the opportunity to gain some feedback on how you feel you are progressing. A celebrity Medium will be attending on the Saturday and he/she will be giving you a demonstration of stage mediumship including psychometry (reading of held objects).

We will then break for lunch and you will have the opportunity to use some of the skills that you have learned and will actually be able to work towards tuning in to spirit and gaining an insight into what happens to you whilst doing so. This will allow you to understand your own methods and how it affects you personally. It is very important that we all understand our own limitations and why we can be afraid of certain feelings.

Dinner brings another opportunity to relax and to talk about what you have learned before you go on to carry out an extensive Ghost Hunt at the 17th Century Hall.

You will have a real opportunity to use your newly found psychic abilities to see what spirits you can connect with. You will be joined by an experienced Historian who can verify your findings and our Paranormal Team to ensure that you are again well supported through this event. You will have the opportunity to carry out and lead vigils and séances and with the guidance of experienced Mediums be able to communicate on many levels with the spirits around you.

Sunday breakfast over and you can then find out through demonstrations ways of developing these new abilities to carry forward into any area that you feel they may be useful. You will learn how mediation can optimise your ability to focus whilst pushing out the day to day thoughts that creep in.

Although single rooms are available we cannot guarantee that everybody can have one and they will be given on a first come first served basis. The rooms are divided up into dormitories of 8 people. All bed linen is provided, except for towels and toiletries. Warm clothing is essential for our ghost hunt as well as comfortable shoes and a torch. Car parking is available.

Some of the things that you will learn by the end of the Workshops are as follows:

Introduction to the Paranormal (what is a residual haunting, what is a spirit Haunting, What is poltergeist etc)

Paranormal investigation Techniques- A brief overview of a scientific approach to ghost hunting - This is going through some of the basic equipment and how to record and evidence. Why we baseline locations etc. - this is a combination of workshop and activity

Spirit Photography - what is an Orb, vortex, ghost etc, how best to capture them and how to tell if you have. (You will need to bring a camera as this is an activity event)

Dowsing as a form of communication - various forms of dowsing from spirit communication to lay-lines (The rods are supplied as this is an activity event)
