World's Longest Public Ghost Hunt - June 19th - June 22nd 2009
Summer Solstice Ghost Festival

Taking place at one of the UK’s most Haunted Castles you will be able to experience this amazing event and be part of something extremely unique. 

The event will begin at 11pm on Friday 19th June and will end at 4am on Monday 22nd June.  You can book your place to be there for part of the ghost hunt or for the whole experience. 

The main theme to this event is to set a new record but this in itself will bring other rewards.  This is an opportunity for you to raise money for your chosen charity via sponsorhips.  Just download your sponsorship form here.  We will verify your attendance and acknowledge the vigils you have attended.  The vigil locations will include the Haunted Dungeon, The Undercroft, The Great Hall and Leslie Smith will be carrying out ghost vigils in the notoriously haunted King’s Bedroom.

Lesley Smith

Lesley is the curator of Tutbury Castle along with the wonderful Wendy Brown.  Lesley is also the well known historian on Living TV’s Most Haunted and one of the ‘Screaming Banshee’s’ on the Paranormal Channel.  Lesley has a wonderful gift in communicating with everybody in such an enchanting and fascinating manner and really does bring the essence of Tutbury Castle and its inhabitants to life.

Johnnie Fiori

Johnnie Fiori who has just completed a years run in Hairspray in the West End, she is the same Johnnie Fiori who is also a singer song writer, she is also that American lady on Most Haunted and now into the second series of Living TV's 'Living With The Dead'.  Johnnie will be holding question & answer sessions on communicating with spirit as well as working with you on your ghost vigils.  

Barrie John

As guest Medium on Most Haunted Series 10 and winner of up and coming medium for Spiritual Connexions 2007 Barrie has worked with Haunted Happenings on many events throughout the year.  Barrie will be joining you at this amazing event as a regular Medium at Tutbury Castle.  He has already come up close and personal with many of Tutbury’s spirits

Demi from Harmony (Britain's Got Talent)

Demi from “Harmony “semi finalists in Britain’s Got Talent will be with us throughout the day on Saturday 20th  and Sunday 21st. Demi will be judging our Tutbury’s Got Talent Competition for our younger guests and giving them some hints and tips on singing styles.

The Anthony Nolan Trust exists to facilitate a transplant for any patient in the world in need of a bone marrow transplant or appropriate cells. 

We currently maintain the UK’s first and largest register of over 390,000 potential volunteer donors willing to donate some of their bone marrow should their tissue type match that of a patient in need of transplant to help fight leukaemia or related diseases of the immune system.  In addition our research programmes constantly work to improve the outcomes of bone marrow transplantation and have also made a major contribution to advances in the field of leukaemia research and treatment.

It is only through support from the public and fundraising events that we will be able to raise the funds to increase our register and provide hope to those who need it.
