World's Longest Public Ghost Hunt - June 19th - June 22nd 2009
EVENT INFORMATION

Taking place at one of the UK’s most Haunted Castles you will be able to experience this amazing event and be part of something extremely unique. 

The event will begin at 11pm on Friday 19th June and will end at 4am on Monday 22nd June.

Top Mediums

Carolyn Lee, El Salmon, Samantha Bennetts and Barbara Chamberlain our wonderful Haunted Happenings Mediums will be working with you throughout the event.  Our Mediums have a huge fan base and are all well respected in their field.

This event is outdoors and indoors and should we have adverse weather there are many covered areas to work in. 

Itinerary of Events

There will be horrible history tours for children at designated times throughout both days from our resident Historian, Mathew Mtingeli , as seen on ‘Horrible Histories’ and ‘Blue Peter’.

There will be Tutbury Castle history tours for adults at designated times throughout both days from our  Resident Historian – Mathew Mtingeli as above.

• Clairvoyant Demonstrations will run throughout both daytime events at regular intervals.
• Mediumistic workshops to include psychometry will be running alongside our Clairvoyant demonstrations. 
• Dowsing Crystal and Dowsing Rods workshops.
• Vigils will be held in the dungeon, Great Hall and King’s Bedroom as well as the Undercrofts throughout the day and night.  You are welcome to join in any of these events.
• The stalls will be up and running throughout the daytime events. 
• There will be holistic treatment stalls, personal reading stalls as well as merchandising.
• Lesley Smith will be displaying a range of outfits from her appearances on Most Haunted and these will be offered for sale.  

Children’s Itinerary

• Children’s activities will run throughout the daytime events and these will include
• Spooky quizzes
• Colouring competitions
• Traditional games,
• Fancy dress – best dressed Witch or Wizard.  ‘
• Tutbury’s got Talent’ to be judged by ‘Harmony’ from Britain’s Got Talent and Lesley Smith from Most Haunted. 
• Guess the sweets in a jar competition
• Sword fighting
• Tombola
• In the stocks.  How long will you last?
• Children’s workshops on dowsing crystals and dowsing rods
• Treasure Hunts
• Face painting
• Ghost Stories

We also have some fantastic raffle prizes to be won

Harmony from ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ will be attending this event and judging the Tutbury’s got Talent Competition for our younger guests.
